People can have a hard time getting their own ideas into reality. Too many obstacles, too much or too little time, too many excuses. Even more difficult can be executing another’s idea and as a group. When executing a plan as a group there are some key steps to follow to make your execution a success.
- Set clear goals and objectives early in the project. Define what success is.
- Set a series of steps that will help you reach the goal;
- Always assign tasks to stakeholders;
- Choose your team members carefully. Fewer skilled is better than many unskilled;
- Set a deadlines for the tasks;
- Follow up with the stakeholders before the due date. Do they need help? Are they struggling?
- Keep a running list of tasks and stake holders for reference. The more moving parts to a project the more important this list will become;
- Commend your team members for the small successes along the way;
- Enjoy your success when you achieve your goal.
